Complete Crushing Plant Guide for Aggregate Producers

Building a complete crushing plant is a significant investment. A clear plan protects that investment. Here is how we approach every project.

1. Site survey

Start with the raw material. Take samples and test hardness, abrasiveness and moisture. Measure the site: available space, elevation, access for trucks and distance to the market.

2. Define the product

List the final products you must produce - for example 0-5 mm, 5-10 mm and 10-20 mm aggregate - and the required quality standard. This determines the crushing stages and screening setup.

3. Process design

A typical aggregate plant has three stages:

  • Primary: jaw crusher
  • Secondary: cone crusher or impact crusher
  • Tertiary (optional): VSI for sand making and shaping

Each stage is matched to the previous one so no equipment becomes a bottleneck.

4. Equipment selection

Select crushers, screens, feeders and conveyors with 10-15% capacity margin. Choose voltage and frequency to match your local grid (380V/50Hz, 440V/60Hz, etc.).

5. Civil works and steel structure

We provide foundation drawings, steel structure details and electrical diagrams. Local contractors can build them with our supervision.

6. Commissioning

After installation, we run load tests, calibrate the discharge settings and train your operators. For remote sites, we provide step-by-step video guidance and on-site supervisors on request.

7. After-sales

Stock spare parts, schedule maintenance and keep in touch with our engineers. A well-supported plant runs at full capacity for years.
